Oh, no! - Sage-Tx or the particular section of town you are visiting has been evacuated for a gas leak. The Utility Department hopes to complete the maintenance soon. While you're waiting, visit  my facebook page. www.facebook.com/seekingsage
(Lyndie Blevins @ Guiding Wind is down for maintenance)

The Sage Record
The Sage Record has provided continued news coverage of Sage-Tx since 1868. It has been through many owners/publishers and taken several forms. The Journalism Department of A.R. Johnson College supports the newspaper in many ways. (The Sage Record is Lyndie's blog)

You may subscribe for one or more of the newsletters depending on your interests, I recommend subscribing to all of them.

Where is the real Sage, Tx?

The Corner of County Road 202 and 203 is where a little community named Sage used to function. Now it's just a sign -- one sign with "Entering Sage" on one side and "Leaving Sage" on the other side.

This is also on the North Fork of the San Gabriel River and the intersection of the old Burnet-Lampasas road and the old Austin-San Saba road, eight miles northeast of Burnet in north central Burnet County.

It may have taken its name from the sage grass in the area.

Say The Welcoming Word

Say the welcoming word to God—“Jesus is my Master”—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation.  Romans 10:9, The Message
