Everything, Mary DeMuth's new book, my submission for her trailer

Mary DeMuth invited her followers to be a part of the trailer for her new book, Everything.  This is my submission. It is hard for me to identified the exact moment Jesus became everything to me, because every time I think I know everything Jesus is, He whispers but there is more. This moment was my first realization after my conversion. What about you? When did you know Jesus was everything?

What are you thankful for?

That is the question being asked everywhere I’ve turned this week. And it leaves me cold. I know, I have many things to be grateful for. I have had a good life, but it is not quite the life I wanted.

Trust30 Day 4 Biggest challenge

That which each can do best, none but his Maker can teach him,

Where is the master who could have taught Shakespeare? Where is the master who could have instructed Franklin, or Washington, or Bacon, or Newton? . . . Shakespeare will never be made by the study of Shakespeare. Do that which is assigned you, and you cannot hope too much or dare too much. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

15 minutes to live Day 1 #Trust30

We are afraid of truth, afraid of fortune, afraid of death, and afraid of each other. Our age yields no great and perfect persons. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Am I in the middle of a Dr Who episode? I keep thinking any moment the Taurus will drop in and the Doctor will swoop me out of here. Alas, no rescue in sight.

Missed my writing goals for the month

I’m disappointed; I didn’t met my writing goals this month. It was partly because of my Mom being in the hospital/rehab, partly because I have not set up a clear writing schedule. I learned a few things. I did some great research on the book of Ezra. One of the things I learned this month is nothing that belongs to God is ever lost. This is encouraging, I will be able to use this research one day. And I was blessed by what I learned.

However the skies over Ghost Ranch held the greatest impact because of what it represented. The weather was outstanding, just a little colder than last year, but still very doable. Thursday afternoon there were some clouds and a few snow flurries. Otherwise, it was this deep blue color.
